All Inclusive Rates for Dogs and Cats

Zoot is a member of the Pet Care Services Association so you can be assured that we offer the highest level of professional care available. At Zoot Pets, our rates are our rates. We don’t believe in charging extra for feeding, giving your pet routine medicine, or charges based on a dogs weight. The lucky dogs that stay with us are taken outside for group exercise in our play meadows 4 times per day and receive a complementary bath when they stay for 2 or more nights. We provide Science Diet sensitive stomach for dogs and cats but you are welcome to bring your own food if you wish (no extra charge of course).

Cats are boarded in second story luxury cat condos that put those fancy new Austin human condos to shame. Of course there are exceptions, but we don’t like charging hidden fees just like you don’t like to pay them.

Indoor/Outdoor Patio Suite for Dogs

  • $46 per guest per night

Deluxe Indoor/Outdoor Patio Suite for Dogs

  • $67 per guest per night
  • 6’x9’ inside and 6’x9’ outside covered patio
  • Password protected web cam for 24 hour access to view your pet
  • 15” flat screen LCD TV
  • Fleece covered pet cot
  • Includes food, bath, 4 outdoor playtimes per day
  • Guests staying with us past 12:00 pm will incur an extended stay charge of $23 per dog

Cat Condo with Lobby View

  • $22 per guest
  • Private condo with window sill view of our lobby.
  • Laughing at all the dogs below….priceless!
  • Includes food
  • Guests staying with us past 12:00 pm will incur an extended stay charge of $12 per cat

Hill Country View Cat Condo

  • $29 per guest
  • Extra large private condo with stunning views of the Texas hill country and our lobby
  • Guests staying with us past 12:00 pm will incur a late check out fee of $12 per cat

Sunday Pick-Up

We offer Sunday pick-up by appointment only. Since our lobby is not open on Sunday, we required that boarders checking out Sunday pre-pay upon check-in.

  • Dogs picked up on Sunday will incur an extended Sunday stay charge of $32 per dog.
  • Cats picked up Sunday incur a $15 charge for extended Sunday stay per cat.

Dog & Cat Families

We offer a 20% discount to family members who wish to share a suite when boarding overnight. 20% applies to the second guest and beyond in the same suite. The number of family members allowed in one suite depends on several factors including size and capacity. We also have adjoining rooms for dog families to allow for maximum flexibility and lots of space.

Really Really Big Dogs

Our dog doors will fit any type of dog. Our standard suite patio doors fit dogs as small as a Chihuahua and big as a St. Bernard. We also have 4 suites with Giant Hale Pet doors, the largest pet doors available in the industry, just in case.

Exotic Pets

Yes we will board your exotic pet! sugar gliders, birds, snakes, ferrets, rats. Exotic pet boarding prices are the same as cat condo rates.

Diabetic Pets

Zoot has a highly trained professional staff. We do not charge for insulin injections.

Required Vaccines

The health and safety of all pets in our facility is our first and foremost concern. For this reason, Zoot requires that all pets be fully vaccinated for both boarding and grooming.

Dog Boarding

  • Rabies (1 or 3 Year)
  • Distemper/Parvo (1 Year)
  • Bordetella – Kennel Cough (6 Months)

Due to the durtion of its immunity, we require that bordetella be given every 6 months. A yearly distemper vaccine is required. We will accept a 3 year DHPP only if it is the Continuum DAP manufactured by Intervet/Schering-Plough. If your dog has not ever received a bordetella vaccine, it is our recommendation that your dog be vaccinated a minimum of two weeks prior to boarding. If your pet is not current on it’s vaccinations at the time of boarding or grooming, it will be necessary to vaccinate them upon arrival at Zoot Pet Hospital.

Feline Boarding

  • Rabies (1 or 3 Year)
  • Feline Distemper (1 Year)

We do not require leukemia vaccines, however, if your cat is either Feline Leukemia or FIV positive, it will be boarded separately in the hospital area at the regular boarding price. If your pet is not current on its vaccinations at the time of boarding or grooming, it will be necessary to vaccinate them at the time of their arrival at Zoot Pet Hospital. If you have any questions about the vaccine status of your pet, please let us know and we will be happy to check for you!

Guidelines for Bringing Your Own Food and Medication Administration

If you would like us to feed your pet with the food you provide, we ask that you package it us in daily portions in a zip-lock baggie and label it. This way we can ensure the right portion control for the health and safety of your pet. Routine medication administration for your pet is included in our fees. However, please keep in mind that special needs sometimes require special care. If your pet requires non-standard injections, fluids, etc., a small fee may be incurred.

  • You may arrange for your dog to be run by Abby Loves Dogs during his/her stay at Zoot pets.
  • All runs take place here in Georgetown by Abby Loves Dogs
  • 30 minute run – $30
  • 45 minute run – $40
  • Prices listed above are a la cart services. Run prices do not include boarding charges and are separate services.

Upgrades

We really believe that our basic rate includes everything your dog or cat will need for an enjoyable experience. However, clients have asked us the price of extra services not included in our basic rate.

Extra Services

  • 20 minute TLC session – $10. Individual play session by one of our caring staff members
  • Nature walk – $10. Leashed walk around our 4 private acres
  • Extra group play – $5 per session
