Puppy Training Classes

The purpose of puppy training class is to socialize your puppy with other dogs and people at an early age. In addition the class will familiarize your dog with basic commands and appropriate puppy behavior. A well behaved dog will make everyone’s lives more enjoyable.

The class is 1 ½ hours each week for three weeks. Puppy classes are for dogs that are six months or younger. All puppies must be up to date on vaccines with a minimum of two boosters including Bordetella, Distemper, and Parvo. Dogs must be free of all parasites (fleas, ticks, etc).

What to bring:

6 foot lead with collar

Please, no retractable leashes

Puppy class specific topics include:

Basic commands such as sit, stay, and come

Potty training

Beginning leash training

Destructive behavior

Mouthing and nipping

The cost for the three week puppy class is $150. Classes are limited to 6 participants. Should you need to cancel your place in one of our classes we will happily issue a Zoot credit that may be applied to any of our services.

Session I – January 14, 21, 28
Session II – February 10, 17, 24 (Wednesday)
Session III – March 11, 18, 25 (Thursday)
Session IV – April 7, 14, 21 (Wednesday)
Session V – May 6, 13, 20 (Thursday)
Session VI – June 2, 9, 16
Session VII – July 8, 15, 22
